Illustration Technique
By Robin Hegan and Kristin Blackwood

The main illustrations were prepared in water mixable oils on wood panels by illustrator Robin Hegan. The bottom border illustrations were prepared by Kristin Blackwood in oil pastels and watercolor on Arches® 300lb cold press watercolor stock. The illustrations were photographed and converted into digital files that were then merged in Photoshop®.
